Charities across the UK continue to re-evaluate and strategically relocate offices.

From building links with local communities and establishing a high street presence, to providing more flexible, green, and welcoming space – the reasons for moving are many.

AbilityNet

Positioned conveniently between the City and The Silicon Roundabout, TSP client recently moved into a large open plan workspace in Worship Street.

Art UK

Leading art and culture charity opens an office in Stoke-on-Trent in a move to build links with local schools and community groups. They acknowledge their mission to get people closer to art cannot be achieved remotely.

Changing Faces
TSP client and charity against discrimination, Changing Faces, secured a new short-term office let, under a 5-minute walk from Camden Town.

Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance (CCPA)

Outgrowing their previous space, the Stafford charity moves into a former university site. The new office will allow them to hold all events, fundraising and sales onsite.

Christians Against Poverty
Bradford based charity moves into one of the most prominent empty buildings in Leeds city centre – uniting 400 staff from across two sites under one roof, with better accessibility. They have submitted planning permission for solar panels, bike storage, and car charging points.

CILIP
Situated in the heart of Bloomsbury’s “Knowledge Quarter”, the library and information association has put its freehold office building on the market.

CLAN Cancer Support

Leading north-east cancer charity relocates Shetland base to Islesburgh Community Centre, Lerwick to expand its reach. Their new office includes a multifunctional space for drop-in appointments and complimentary therapy treatments.

Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC)

The DEC move into Hackney N1, taking lower floor space in the striking mixed-use, multi award-winning Cube Building: one of Europe’s tallest buildings to use a cross-laminated timber structure. The attractive, private canal-side garden is a sure employee perk.

Glasgow City Mission

Former neglected council depot site, Elder Park, is set to be let out to vulnerable people charity in a move to create an outdoor learning area with play equipment. Through fundraising, they aim to transform it into a natural haven for children to engage in the outdoor environment.

Julia’s House

Children’s Dorset hospice charity move to a more welcoming, relaxed, informal space in Wimborne. Light, spacious and with subtle indoor planting, local design company KTM Design offered services pro bono in support of the charity’s mission to inspire staff back to the workplace.

Lambeth & Southwark Mind

The mental health charity secures space in the heart of Brixton SW9. Piano House is a Victorian warehouse regenerated as creative, flexible, and affordable workspace – offering a vibrant community.

Local Solutions

Accelerating and expanding services, a charity supporting vulnerable people near Liverpool moves to new Wavertree premises. The building will help them in becoming more collaborative, innovative, and flexible – empowering staff.

Ochil Youths Community Improvement (OYCI)

Scottish youth charity celebrates the opening of their High Street premises: having a place to call their own and grow community has been their long-term ambition. All fit out furniture was sustainably sourced from COP26.

Parkinson’s UK

Shifting to a more hybrid approach, Parkinson’s UK sells its Victoria HQ while looking to rent a new, smaller office in London. Accessibility and adaptability are their main criteria.

Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)

Having sold Belgravia House in March 2021, the RCVS have bought larger premises in Clerkenwell – creating more flexibility and opportunity for extra income renting out any unused space.

Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS)

The ROS relocates from Somerset to new offices in Bath. The move enables a £1.7m investment programme in research, advertising, and digital services as part of an ambitious four-year strategy.
